Mercury offers outboards ranging from 2.5 to 300 horsepower, inboard
motors that range between 135 and 1,075 horsepower, and a line up of
jet engines. Most motors come with a three year corrosion warranty
regardless if it is an outboard, inboard, or jet. Warranties on the
actual power train vary with the level of performance. Most consumer
outboards come with a standard three year warranty and the option to
purchase an additional three years of warranty; this includes both two
and four stroke engines. A Mercury Racing outboard motor is available
with a standard two year warranty and an optional one year warranty.
MercCruiser stern drives have a standard one year warranty with an
available one year extended warranty. All Mercury Racing stern drives
come with a 90 day warranty.
